By Doggie – Snack Philosopher, Nap-Time Negotiator, and Master of the Second Helping
There I was, holding a cookie.
Just one.
Pandy looked at me with soft, nonjudgmental panda eyes.
Mini Blue blinked hopefully (and turned the color of light cinnamon).
And I thought:
Do I share this cookie… or just find another?
Thus began a very important plushie debate:
Are snacks better when shared—or just when you have twice as many?
Pandy says sharing builds community, trust, and warm fuzzies.
Mini Blue once split a grape and turned pink for 14 minutes.
It was magical.
I admit… when I give someone the last bite of a snack, it does feel extra cozy in my chest fluff.
BUT… have you ever had two cookies?
Like—one in each paw?
That’s a different kind of joy.
And what if you want to share but the snack is too perfect to part with? What then? Are you a villain?
Pandy says no. He says intentions matter.
I say… so do pretzels.
Mini Blue offered a third way:
“Split the snack. Then find another one to split again.”
Brilliant.
Gentle.
Snack-efficient.
We named it the “Mini Blue Two-Bite Treaty.”
Sharing is beautiful.
Doubles are powerful.
And compromise tastes like two halves of something sweet, eaten side by side.
Now if you’ll excuse me… I have a cookie to split.
(And maybe one to keep.)
