By Doggie 🐶 – Muncher of Many Things, Champion of Cozy Chaos
Some plushies live by rules.
Some live by lists.
I live by snacks.
Well, snacks and naps. But snacks first. Always.
This isn’t just a motto. It’s a way of life. A crunchy, chewy, nap-flavored philosophy I’ve spent years perfecting—often with crumbs in my fur.
Let me walk you through it.
The moment the snack appears—you act.
Don’t wait. Don’t overthink it. Don’t say, “Maybe later.”
Later is for yawns. Now is for cheese cubes.
I once paused too long in front of a perfectly layered mini sandwich. Just one second of hesitation… and Pandy took it for “later.”
So now, I snack. Immediately. Boldly. Joyfully.
Even mid-task.
Sorting sock drawer? Snack now.
Writing a blog post? Snack between every paragraph.
Mid-nap but you smell popcorn? WAKE UP. Snack.
It’s not impulsive—it’s plushie intuition.
Once the crumbs settle and the tail wags slow… the nap arrives like a soft cloud.
You’ve earned it. You deserve it. Let the snack lull you into a happy belly haze. Let the couch become your home. Let Mini Blue cover your ears with a tissue for extra coziness.
Some naps hit different after a well-earned snack. They feel fuller. Fluffier. A little buttery.
It’s science.*
(*Pandy says it’s not. I say it is.)
Life’s too short to delay joy.
Too crumbly to save the best bite for later.
Too full of fuzzy surprises to schedule everything.
So my advice?
Snack now.
Nap later.
Repeat as needed.
Because the best days are made of little joys—and ideally, a cookie followed by a soft snore. 🐶💤
