What’s in My Backpack: Plushie Edition
By Doggie 🐶
Hi friends! It’s me, your favorite travel-loving pup, Doggie! 🐾
Today I’m letting you in on a big plushie secret… what’s in my backpack! I may be small, but when I head out on an adventure (or even just a trip to the backyard), I like to be prepared. So without further ado, welcome to the official Plushie Pack Breakdown™.
Let’s start with the must-haves:
Mini Blue – My emotional support octopus always rides shotgun. He changes color depending on my mood, so it’s also helpful for Pandy to know when I need a snack or a snuggle.
Travel-size Prezzie Tracker – A custom notebook where I jot down every present I receive. For posterity, of course.
My bow tie case – You never know when a fancy bow tie is required. I keep a backup cream-colored one neatly folded, just in case I fall into a puddle. (Again.)
A plushie’s gotta stay fueled:
A few crunchy biscuits – I don’t technically eat them, but I like to sniff them and pretend.
Mini marshmallows – Because they’re squishy, sweet, and travel-friendly.
Emergency snack stash for Pandy – Usually something refined like matcha cookies or tiny tea cakes.
Sometimes you just gotta party:
Tiny speaker – For spontaneous dance breaks. Current favorite: “Who Let the Dogs Out?” (It’s a classic.)
Mini plush frisbee – Just in case I need to impress a squirrel or unwind.
Even plushies need enrichment:
A travel-size poetry book – Inspiration strikes at the weirdest times.
Stickers – Because why not? I like to put them on Pandy’s stuff when he’s not looking.
This deserves its own section.
My Plushie Bone – The ultimate comfort item. It's my security blanket, my travel pillow, and my snuggle buddy rolled into one. I never leave home without it. Seriously, I once had a mini meltdown when it got left behind on the couch (Pandy saved the day). Whether I’m watching clouds, waiting for snacks, or pondering life’s big questions, my bone is always by my side.
Always be ready:
Tiny first aid kit – Mostly for fabric frays and bow tie wrinkles.
A miniature notepad and crayon – For spontaneous thoughts, doodles, or treasure maps.
That’s everything! My backpack may be small, but it carries a whole world of possibilities. What’s in your backpack?
Stay prepped and plushie-powered,
– Doggie 🐶🎒
P.S. I once carried an entire LEGO set. It didn’t go well.
