Welcome to the 2025 Snack Draft, live from Pillowfort Arena!
The crowd is hyped (okay, it’s mostly plushies and two dolls). The draft board is sparkly. The snack bins are stocked. And I, Doggie, have the first overall pick. Naturally.

Pandy stands at the podium in a bow tie and reading glasses. Mini Blue is our official color-coded announcer. Their glow changes with the excitement level.

Mini Blue: default blue → neon yellow = snack tension rising

Round 1

Doggie selects: Peanut Butter-Filled Pretzels

“They’re salty. They’re sweet. They crunch like victory.”
Mini Blue glows peach-orange in approval. Pandy rolls his eyes but nods—it’s a strong foundational snack.

Round 2

Pandy selects: Dried Mango (unsulphured)

“Elegant, balanced, travel-stable. Also, rich in vitamin C.”
Audience murmurs. A practical, chewy pick. Unexpected, yet solid. Mini Blue flashes sage green = respect.

Round 3

Mini Blue selects (by silent gesture): Rainbow Sour Belts
A gasp! An emotional pick! Risky in the long term (stickiness), but maximum joy output. Doggie slow claps.
Mini Blue turns hot pink. Dramatic. Iconic.

Round 4

Doggie selects: Mini Churro Bites

“This is for flair. For passion. For cinnamon.”
Mini Blue glows golden-sugar yellow. Pandy makes a note in his snack ledger: “May attract ants.”

Round 5

Pandy selects: Cucumber Tea Sandwiches (with crusts trimmed)

“A niche pick. Refreshing. And I made them myself.”
Mini Blue goes soft blush. Homemade points awarded.

Bonus Round: Surprise Trade

Doggie tries to trade one peanut butter pretzel for a single sour belt. Mini Blue rejects the offer by turning blue-gray and gently booping his nose.

Doggie’s Post-Draft Reflection

Snack choices say a lot about a plushie. Some crave balance, some crave boldness. Some just want things that turn your tongue purple. But in the end, we shared bites, we debated flavor profiles, and we left crumbs in every corner of the couch.

That’s what snack diplomacy is all about.
