Copenhagen Charm

Hi friends! It’s me, Doggie, here to share the latest chapter of our European adventure—Copenhagen! 🇩🇰 After a whirlwind three days in Madrid, Pandy and I were ready for some cozy hygge vibes, and Copenhagen delivered in every way possible.

We started with a visit to DØP, where I discovered that hot dogs in Denmark are not your ordinary snack. They’re a work of art! Picture this: a perfectly grilled sausage nestled in a freshly baked bun, topped with crunchy onions, tangy pickles, and sweet mustard. Pandy said it was “the perfect balance of flavors,” but I was too busy eating mine to come up with a description. If you visit Copenhagen, don’t miss this spot—it’s paws-down the best hot dog I’ve ever had!

Next, we explored Freetown Christiania, a unique and colorful neighborhood that felt like stepping into a whole new world. The art, the atmosphere, and the free-spirited vibe were unforgettable. Pandy loved admiring the murals and sculptures, while I tried to blend in by wearing an imaginary bohemian scarf (Pandy wasn’t impressed, but I felt the part).

One of my favorite moments was enjoying a glass of wine with Pandy while sitting by the water. We watched boats and kayaks drift by, and I couldn’t help but daydream about paddling one myself. Pandy pointed out that I might not make the best kayaker, but a plushie can dream, right? The stillness of the water and the lively chatter around us made it the perfect spot to relax and recharge.

Of course, we couldn’t visit Copenhagen without a trip to Tivoli Gardens! 🎡✨ It was magical—fairy lights twinkling everywhere, thrilling rides, and delicious snacks at every turn. Pandy was all about the calming boat ride, while I was ready to conquer the roller coasters. We settled on a few gentle rides so I wouldn’t accidentally lose my bow tie! Tivoli felt like a mix of wonder and whimsy, and it’s now one of my favorite places ever.

Copenhagen has been an incredible blend of adventure, culture, and relaxation. From the iconic sights to the quiet moments by the water, every experience reminded me why I love traveling with Pandy by my side.
