By Doggie 🐶 – Cookie Enthusiast, Occasional Rule-Bender
1. The Calm Before the Cookie Storm
Pandy brewed the perfect pot of tea — chamomile, steam curling like a hug.
Mini Blue glowed soft mint (peaceful).
The table was set with delicate cups, napkins… and a plate of twelve cookies.
That’s when it started.
2. The Debate Begins
Pandy, ever the picture of calm, said:
“Traditionally, one or two cookies per guest keeps things… balanced.”
I, with paw already reaching for my third, said:
“Traditions are suggestions, not laws, Pandy.”
Mini Blue turned teal (tension).
3. My Case for Cookie Freedom
I argued passionately:
Tea without plenty of cookies is just hot leaf water.
Each dunk requires a backup cookie (in case of “dunk casualties”).
Happiness can, in fact, be measured in crumbs.
Pandy sighed so deeply, I thought his tea would cool on the spot.
4. Pandy’s Case for Etiquette
Pandy countered, calmly as always:
“Cookies are for savoring, not hoarding.”
“Others may want a fair share.”
“Doggie, you can’t build a cookie tower instead of using a saucer.”
Mini Blue glowed pink (amusement) as I balanced a cookie tower anyway.
5. The Soft Resolution
In the end, we reached a compromise:
Pandy made a second plate of cookies just for me.
Mini Blue glowed mint green (peace), nibbling a crumb.
Pandy sipped his tea.
And I whispered, “Balance restored… by more cookies.”
