Doggie here, reporting live from the couch—aka the plushie fan zone! 🏈🐾 It’s football season, and Sundays have officially become my favorite day of the week (sorry, Saturdays, but you don’t have touchdowns). Pandy prefers to keep it classic with a team t-shirt (although he's gotten a jersey now), but I say the bolder, the better. Bonus points if your plushie has a foam finger (we’ve been trying to find one in our size).

Game day is all about comfort. Pandy and I always claim the best seat on the couch, complete with extra cushions and our favorite blanket. Pro tip: Position yourself close to the snack table for easy access. Speaking of snacks...

3. Snacks, Snacks, Snacks!

No game day is complete without a proper snack lineup. Pandy likes to prepare a balanced spread—think veggie sticks and dip—but I’m all about popcorn, chips, and mini hot dogs. For drinks, we’ve got water for Pandy and sparkling apple cider for me (because fancy fizz makes touchdowns taste better).

We like to take game day seriously, so we review our “Plushie Playbook” before kickoff. It’s basically a list of cheers, touchdown dances, and penalty rants. Pandy’s cheers are refined and dignified, while mine usually involve jumping on the couch and yelling, “GO NINERS!”
