You try your best.
You carry the croissant gently. You whisper affirmations. You take a single, delicate bite...
And then—boom.
Crumbs. Everywhere.
In your hoodie. In your ears. In Mini Blue’s ear.
Flakes fall like golden snow on a freshly vacuumed rug.
It’s chaos.
It’s buttery.
It’s life.
You can plan. You can prep.
You can hold the croissant with two paws and pure intentions…
But flakes will still fall.
And that doesn’t mean you did it wrong.
It means you lived it right.
Not everything needs fixing right away.
Sometimes you sit in the mess a moment.
You breathe. You nibble. You accept the state of things.
Then you find the vacuum. Or Pandy does.
(It’s usually Pandy.)
Flakes are reminders:
That something joyful happened here.
That softness came with a little chaos.
That snacks are never truly tidy—and neither are feelings.
Mini Blue once arranged the fallen flakes into a spiral and called it “Crumb Art.”
I cried a little. It was beautiful.
Sometimes the best bites leave a little mess behind.
So do the best moments.
So do we.
If life gets crumbly, remember this:
You're still whole.
You're still warm.
You're still full of love, even if you're surrounded by snack debris.
Fluffily and flakefully yours,
Doggie 🐶✨
