It started with a glow.
Mini Blue turned yellow during breakfast.
“Aw, cheerful,” I said.
Then they turned green during laundry folding.
“Excited?” I guessed.
Then they turned red, purple, and even gray within the same five minutes.
“Oh no,” said Pandy.
“Oh dear,” I said.
“Wheee?” said Mini Blue—possibly sarcastically.
We were officially on…
Mood Mystery Patrol.
Mini Blue turned orange during snack prep. We ruled it was hunger. Immediate remedy: half a banana and a single ravioli.
Result: color shifted to a mellow blue. Promising.
We were doing a jigsaw of a duck in a bathtub when Mini Blue turned furious red.
Turns out the last puzzle piece was stuck to my tail.
I offered it back with a formal apology and a cookie. Color returned to pink. (Forgiveness detected.)
Mini Blue tried to burrow into the blanket fort, but it collapsed dramatically.
They turned cloudy gray and sighed.
Pandy gently rebuilt the fort and added a little lamp and a snack cubby.
Mini Blue turned blue-green. Calmer.
At the end of the day, we watched the sunset and shared a pile of pillows.
Mini Blue turned… rainbow.
Sparkly rainbow.
“Is that… contentment?” I whispered.
Pandy nodded. “Or a sugar rush.”
We agreed not to question it.
Conclusion:
Mini Blue had a Mood Day. And we had a Feelings Fiesta.
