Plushie Postcards: Castles, Tea, and Madrid Marvels
Hi friends! Doggie here, continuing the tale of our amazing European adventure! š¾ After soaking up the charm of Brighton and Angmering, Pandy and I discovered a couple of new gems along the way. From exploring an incredible castle to having a traditional tea, our days have been full of magic and surprises.
First up, Arundel Castle! š° Let me tell you, this place was like stepping into a storybook. Pandy kept marveling at the architecture (heās a fan of the fancy stuff), while I ran ahead to imagine myself as the castleās royal pup-in-residence. The halls were filled with history, and we even spotted some knightsā armor! Pandy insisted we take a picture in the grand courtyard, and I must say, we looked very regal.
After all that exploring, we treated ourselves to a traditional tea at Cockburnās. I wasnāt sure what to expect, but WOWāit was delicious! The scones were perfectly fluffy, the sandwiches were cut into neat little triangles, and the tea? Pandy says it was āsublime.ā I just know it made me feel warm and cozy. Pro tip: never skip out on tea if youāre in Englandāitās worth every sip!
From there, we packed our bags and headed to Madrid, Spain! šŖšø The city is vibrant, lively, and full of incredible things to see. Pandy and I spent hours wandering through the historic streets, marveling at the stunning buildings and the hustle and bustle of city life. The highlight? Plaza Mayor, where we sat and people-watched while munching on churros dipped in chocolate. Pandy calls it āthe ultimate plushie treat,ā and I couldnāt agree more.
Madrid also gave us the chance to experience its culture and history. We visited beautiful parks, admired art at the Prado Museum, and soaked in the sunshine on outdoor terraces. Pandy says itās a city he could visit again and again. Me? Iām just thinking about those churros!
Itās been an unforgettable trip so far, and Iām excited to share even more adventures as we continue our European journey. Thank you for following along, and remember, the world is full of places to exploreāone pawstep at a time!
Until next time,
Doggie š¾
P.S. If anyone has castle recommendations for our next trip, let us know! Iām officially hooked on royal adventures.
