Some plushies talk to houseplants.
Some talk to the moon.
I talk to the croissant.
And the croissant?
It answers.
Not with words.
With presence. With vibe. With buttery certainty.
Whenever I donāt know what to do, I sit with it.
And suddenly, the flaky layers align⦠and clarity begins to rise.
1. Should I wear the red hoodie again?
Croissant flaked gently in approval.
I wore it. Crumbs matched the vibe.
2. Should I forgive Pandy for eating the last slice of pie without asking?
One soft middle glance from the croissant.
It reminded me: we all make emotional snack decisions.
I forgave. (Eventually.)
3. Do I try to stack two naps today, or just one long one?
Croissant tilted toward both.
I flopped immediately. Dreamed of frosting.
4. Should I eat the croissant now?
Croissant said nothing.
That meant not yet.
I didnāt eat it. I consulted it. Thereās a difference.
Mini Blue once placed a googly eye on the croissant and bowed.
They understand the sacred.
Pandy walked by, saw me whispering to it, and said:
āLet me know when it suggests vacuuming.ā
Still waiting.
You donāt need all the answers.
You just need somethingāor someoneāto sit with you as you figure it out.
For me, that something is flaky, warm, and smells like hope.
Respect your croissant.
And it might just guide you home.
Layer by layer,

P.S. It still hasnāt said I should eat it. But I think itās close.
