I needed to bring the croissant with me.
Not just across the room—everywhere.
But one question stood between me and destiny:
How do you carry a croissant the size of your torso... responsibly?
The answer? Pockets.
Many, many pockets.
I started with my hoodie.
Added an emergency side pouch.
Tried to stitch in a pastry holster.
Asked Pandy for sewing help. He said, “No.”
Mini Blue offered duct tape and hope.
I wore:
Hoodie (1 large pocket)
Cargo vest (3 snackable pouches)
Scarf wrap (for emotional support, and croissant neck protection)
Result: Cozy. Unstable. Ridiculously loud when I walked.
Mini Blue created a Pastry Harness™ from leftover ribbon, yarn, and a bungee cord.
It had adjustable straps, room for flake fallout, and an “emergency snack chute.”
It also squeaked when I moved.
We agreed that was a feature.
Observed from a distance.
Took notes.
Sighed twelve times.
Eventually muttered,
“Why not just eat it?”
Unhelpful. But fair.
✅ Croissant made it to three rooms and one couch
✅ Emotional satisfaction high
❌ Crumbs in four pockets, one shoe
❌ I got stuck in a doorway and had to pivot sideways
Sometimes the journey is the snack.
And sometimes you need too many pockets to carry what matters most.
So stitch boldly. Squeak proudly.
And if the croissant is too big for your bag… make a new bag.
Pocketfully yours,
Doggie 🐶✨

P.S. Pandy is now measuring me for a pastry cape. Progress?
